Former Bronco Vidot signs with Salford to 2017

DANIEL Vidot could have signed the last football contract of his career, penning a two-year contract with Salford in the English Super League.

After that, the former Bronco will be free to chase his dream of being a professional wrestler in the WWE.

Vidot recently announced he had agreed to join the WWE. But with limited professional wrestling experience, he is still only seen as a future prospect.

The 25-year-old (pictured) continues Salford's rebuilding, with Justin Carney, Mark Flanagan, Robert Lui and Ben Murdoch-Masila being brought in.

The Samoan can play centre or wing.

"We are delighted to have added both Justin Carney and now Daniel to our backline for next season, and we are starting to look particularly strong in key areas," Salford coach Ian Watson said.

Vidot joined Brisbane at the end of 2013.
