One man is facing five courts in six days

A LOGAN man faces dozens of serious traffic charges in five courthouses in northern Brisbane in the space of six weeks.

Cameron Stephen Daniell appeared over the phone in Sandgate Magistrates Court to plead guilty to stealing fuel while driving an unregistered and uninsured car when he didn't have a licence and using cancelled number plates.

But the court heard Mr Daniell, 21, had dozens of traffic charges pending on six dates at five northern Brisbane courthouses in the coming weeks.

Police alleged on Wednesday, March 25, Mr Daniell pulled his Ford Falcon into a 711 Service Station in Bracken Ridge, where a passenger pumped $34 worth of premium unleaded into the car before they drove off without paying.

When police arrested Mr Daniell he said his friends in the car encouraged him to drive off as no one wanted to pay for the fuel.

But during the sentencing Magistrate Jennifer Batts found Mr Daniell had multiple similar charges at different courthouses in the coming days and weeks.

These included two charges of evading police as well as other traffic charges.

Mr Daniell is set to appear in Pine Rivers Magistrates Court and Caboolture Magistrates Court next week, as well in Brisbane Magistrates Court, Redcliffe Magistrates Court later in July and more matters in Pine Rivers in early August.

Ms Batts said she would not accept Mr Daniells plea of guilty at this time and told him all these matters should be dealt with at one time.

"You definitely need some legal advice," she said.

"I have never seen the like."

Mr Daniells, who lives in Bethania, told the court he plans to plead guilty to some charges but not guilty to others.
