School bus with children on board collides with car

UPDATE 10AM: FOUR children and one adult have been taken to hospital following a crash involving a bus and car this morning.

The accident was reported at the corner of North Station Rd and Caithness St, North Booval, just after 8am.

There were five children on the mini-bus at the time, with four of them treated for minor injuries before being taken to Ipswich Hospital.

An ambulance spokeswoman says one adult has also sustained minor injuries and has been taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police say one vehicle was blocking the road but the scene is now clear.

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services have been called to a crash involving a bus carrying at least five children.

The bus collided with a car at the intersection of North Station Rd and Caithness St, North Booval, about 8am.

It is not known if there are any injuries, however police have received several Triple 0 calls.
