Festival fun appeals to people of all ages
MAROOCHYDORE'S Ocean St came alive yesterday when it played host to the second annual Ocean Street World Festival.
Live music, amazing artwork and stunning food from local cafés and restaurants drew thousands of people to the street for the free family day.
Maroochydore Revitalisation Association spokesperson Joe Riba said the event appealed to all ages.
"It is very rare to have so much diversity and talent in the one location on the Sunshine Coast," he said.
The event featured a range of traditional music and dance from Greece, Cyprus, the Pacific islands, New Zealand and Africa.
