Fernvale looks back in history

FERNVALE will come alive this weekend as the Environment and Heritage Festival gets into full swing.

The festival will run from 10am to 4pm at the Fernvale Memorial Park on Saturday and will be packed full of entertainment and activities for everyone.

The day will include environment and heritage displays, tree planting, a train parade with trains made out of boxes and decorated by children which will see prizes on offer.

It will also include a talent quest with prizes of cash and studio time.

There will be a Historical Re-enactment Village, tree planting by the Fernvale Lions and a number of stalls giving out information for soil regeneration, community aid available and food stalls.
