Female cyclist, 34, injured when hit by car

UPDATE 12.30PM: Queensland Ambulance reports the 34-year-old woman who was hit by a vehicle on Ridgeview Drive at Peregian Springs this morning suffered only minor injuries.

The accident happened at about 9.20m between the Coles Supermarket and the retirement village.

9.45AM: An ambulance is on the scene after a woman has been hit by a car while riding a bike on Ridgeview Drive at Peregian Springs.

An ambulance communications spokesperson said the woman, 34, had suffered minor injuries which are being assessed to determine if she requires further treatment.

The incident occurred between the Coles Shopping Centre and the retirement village about 9.20am.
