Feast of fun in Forest Hill

FOREST Hill lit up last Friday as the annual street Christmas Carnival came to town and allowed Lockyer Valley residents a chance to share the Christmas spirit.

Victoria Street was packed with locals and visitors to the famous parade who came to try and win on one of the three ham wheels, to give the kids a ride on the giant slide or mechanical bull and to enjoy the fabulous entertainment on offer.

Rain threatened to cut the festivities short, however it didn't ruin the atmosphere and despite a few brief showers, didn't hang around for too long.

As the night drew to a close, the organisers were no doubt left feeling like their mission of spreading Christmas cheer and promoting Forest Hill was accomplished.
