Expo shows best school attributes
LAST Wednesday Year 7 students, staff and parents from surrounding schools visited Lowood High School's Expo.
More than 100 eager students were greeted with a healthy morning tea before Deputy Principal, Debbie Pidgeon spoke to them about the exciting subjects on offer at Lowood High.
Students were then divided into groups with one group given a tour of the high school by students and staff.
Meanwhile, those remaining in the hall were able to explore the interactive subject area displays.
After lunch all students assembled in the hall to watch an exciting dynamic display.
The high school band captured the attention of the audience with two lively songs.
Then followed performances by students from the Arts, Drama and Music Departments.
A sneak preview of Lowood High's upcoming musical Cinderella ensured that the rush will be on to buy tickets for this traditional highlight of the school calendar.
To close the day, Principal Mr Webster addressed the Year 7 students and welcomed them to attend Lowood High School in 2011.
