Ex-Air Force cadets make trip
FORMER Cadet Sergeant, now trooper, William Mohr and Cadet flight Sergeant, now Officer Cadet, Hannah Clothier returned to Gatton and the 205 Squadron (AAFC).
William is now serving in the Australian Regular Army with the Australian Artillery based in Townsville and has completed at least one tour of Afghanistan, while Hannah (Royal Australian Air Force) is studying for a science degree at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) in Canberra and upon graduation will undergo further training to become an Air Traffic Controller.
Hannah's younger sister, Krystal is currently a Cadet Under Officer with 205 Squadron (Australian Air Force Cadets) and younger brother Sam is now a second year Leading Cadet.
William's younger brother Chris has recently been promoted to the rank of Cadet Corporal after completing a week long course at RAAF Base Amberley.
Both former cadets said the Air Force Cadets gave each of them a valuable grounding for their transition into the military.
The Clothier's mother, Luana Poder, is the squadron's Administration Officer and canteen convenor.
The pair also participated in this year's Anzac Day services, assisting the 205 Squadron with transporting cadets to services in the region.
