Everything you ever wanted to know about the G20

QUEENSLANDERS can now access everything they need to know about the G20 via a dedicated blog.

Police Minister Jack Dempsey said today the G20 blog would be part of the myPolice online portal which will give organisers a direct means in communicating with the public.

"I know a lot of Queenslanders have many questions about how the G20 events may affect them and this blog provides a place for police to provide all the information people may be looking for," he said.

"The G20 meetings will put Queensland on the world stage and show that this is a great state to live, work and visit."

Assistant Commissioner Katarina Carroll said the blog would greatly assist the QPS to give members of the public vital information in the lead-up to and during the G20 events in Queensland.

"Our officers are already out and about meeting with business owners, community groups and residents about the possible impacts," she said.

"The blog is another tool for us to utilise to ensure that people are well informed about any impacts that may arise."
