'SPICE Queen' Emily Loo crumbled under the pressure of a dwindling clock on MasterChef tonight.
The 31-year-old was the fifth amateur cook eliminated from Ten's reality cooking show.
The three-round pressure test was designed to slowly turn up the heat as contestants were pushed to cook with fewer ingredients and less time while still plating up tasty dishes.
Her traditional sweet and sour chicken wasn't innovative enough, while her strange combination of apricot and crab perplexed the judges.
In the final 10-minute round Loo's banana fritters were too starchy and didn't stack up against Sean and Steven's dishes.
Loo now has an apprenticeship at Brisbane's Black Bird Bar & Grill and runs weekly Asian cooking classes at Vanilla Zulu cooking school.
