Elderly man escapes vehicle accident

A MAN in his 70s was taken to Laidley hospital this afternoon after a single vehicle incident in Summerholm.
The accident occured about 2:30pm.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said the man's car rolled down a hill and struck a tree, but the man was able to escape the vehicle before impact.
He has been taken to Laidley hospital, and is in a stable condition.
