East coast wild weather: Three killed in Tasmania
THREE people have been killed and others are missing as the massive storm cell that devastated parts of the east coast causes record flooding in Tasmania.
Police this morning rescued a woman who was one of two people caught in rising floodwaters near Evandale, in the state's north, bringing the total number of people missing in Tasmania down to three.

Tasmanian Police resumed the search for two elderly people swept away by floodwaters and not seen since yesterday morning.
A search also resumed at first light for a man believed to have been swept off rocks at Bondi Beach in Sydney's east.
Conditions in Tasmania are said to be worse than the state's deadliest floods on record, in 1929, with flood warnings still in place for several rivers.
