GLENORE GROVE STUDENTS, James Rogers and Ebony Whinfield, have been selected to represent Australia in Tae Kwon Do.

Duo named in Oz team

TWO of Glenore Grove's students have achieved high recognition for their hard training in Tae Kwon Do by being selected in the Australian team.

James Rogers and Ebony Whinfield are only two of the students from the Lockyer Valley who have been training hard to beat out the competition in this event.

At the try-outs held in Brisbane they have proven themselves time and again.

Along with their team mates from Gatton, Laidley, Lowood, Rosewood and Ipswich they are hoping to show off their full potential.

The students will now be a part of the team that will travel to the United States in June.

They will also be demonstrating their abilities at the Nation Woman's Day Celebrations at the Laidley Cultural Centre in March where all women aged 12 and above, that would like to have a go at Tae Kwon Do, can do so for free. To be a part of this day call (07) 5411 4140.
