DOUBLE TROUBLE: Bruce Highway hit from both directions

BRUCE Highway travellers have been advised to expect delays after dual traffic crashes have caused issues for motorists in both directions.

Southbound Coast traffic should be prepared for delays with a single vehicle crash just before the weighbridge at Burpengary. 

The right lane is currently blocked as a result of the crash which took place about five minutes ago.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has advised drivers to use caution in the area.

Meanwhile northbound Bruce Highway traffic was affected after a multi-vehicle crash at about 2pm at Murrumba Downs, just past Brays Road.

The Department has advised northbound Coast traffic to expect delays as well.
