Donations join the fleet

AS part of its $650,000 donation to the Lockyer Valley Regional Council, to aid in the local flood recovery effort, a Doosan DX140 Excavator has now joined the council's fleet.

Clark Equipment, with its partners Bobcat and Doosan, made further deliveries of machinery to the cause including a Bobcat 418 Excavator, Bobcat T110 Track Loader and Bobcat S130 Skid-Steer Loader.

Councillor Graham Moon was representing the Mayor to accept the machinery on behalf of Lockyer Valley Regional Council as Deputy Mayor with CEO Ian Flint.

President of Bobcat Americas and Oceania, Rich Goldsbury, was present to witness the delivery, with Robert Hammond, Managing Director of Clark Equipment, Steve Goodall, General Manager Northern Region for Clark Equipment and Jason Hall, Managing Director of Doosan International Australia.

The companies said the range of machines will be used in an array of different recovery projects.

“The Bobcat Loaders and compact excavators will help with the clean up and large excavators will be used at larger worksites,” Cr Moon said.

“This machinery, in addition to the other machinery, is valued in excess of half a million dollars.

“It is a wonderful gift and we must express our gratitude on behalf of the community.”
