Did you see a crash between a car and a quad bike in Bowen?

POLICE are appealing for assistance from the public with their investigation into a traffic crash at Bowen last month.

Initial investigations indicate a crash occurred between a car and quad bike on Inverdon Road around 3am Thursday, June 2.

The rider, a 19-year-old Bowen woman and her passenger, a 21-year-old Bowen man were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The occupants of the car were not injured.

Investigators are asking for any witnesses to the crash and in particular for anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers or Bowen police station on 47613500.
