'Dear Maccas, you had just one job': disgruntled diner

A TOOWOOMBA woman had a bit of a laugh about her McDonald's burger, questioning whether the ingredient order is too difficult to manage.

A Sunday Big Mac hit the spot for the weekend worker but she was left bemused when the tasty layering wasn't quite up to scratch.

"You had one job, Maccas," she joked.

The typical stacking of the famed Big Mac is, from the bottom, bread, lettuce and onion with the special sauce, beef with cheese then the middle bread layer, followed again by the lettuce and onion and special sauce combo, another beef patty topped with cheese then finished with pickles and bread on top.

Dear Maccas, you had one job.
Dear Maccas, you had one job.

But this hungry worker was left bemused when, on opening the box, found something out of place.

Where there should have been the pickle topping on cheese was bread on bread, and an odd mix of all other ingredients below what should have been the middle bread layer.

Not one to let the confusion let her starve, the woman messily rearranged the layers and satisfied her hunger.

"Well it tasted okay once I rearranged it into a suitable order," she said.

"It was quite delicious and the chips were the freshest I'd ever had.

"But seriously, Maccas - this is your flagship burger."

The Chronicle can confirm the printing on the inside of the box was only the declaration its meat was meat, and no staff took any other creative liberties.
