Crisis looming large for the dairy industry
GYMPIE dairy farmers joined 200 of their colleagues in a protest march through the Brisbane CBD yesterday, to highlight looming price disaster for their industry.
As federal Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce promised support for Victorian farmers in the wake of an international price collapse, Gympie protesters wondered where that kind of support was when they needed it.
And worse is to come.
