Crime scene declared after valley property destroyed by fire

A CRIME scene has been declared after a suspicious fire destroyed a property in the Lockyer Valley last night.

Emergency services were called to the Summerholm property about 9pm with reports the building was on fire.

Police said the building, on Long Gully Rd, was destroyed by the blaze.

"A crime scene has been declared and forensic officers will return to the address this morning," police said.
