Man on child exploitation charges misses court date

A 70-YEAR-OLD Central Queensland man in custody on child exploitation charges missed his court appearance after being hospitalised.
Kenneth Douglas Wright was being treated for an injury in the Princess Alexandra Hospital on Wednesday.
Mr Wright has also been charged with repeatedly failing to comply with reporting orders.
The case was adjourned in Brisbane District Court for a mention on October 3 and is set down for trial on November 24.
He does not have legal representation.
Mr Wright will return to the secure unit when he is taken back to prison.
