Council host special event

MAYOR Graeme Lehmann conducted citizenship ceremonies for thirteen new Australian citizens in Esk earlier in the month.

The Mayor, along with Cr Dan Hall and Cr Robin Caddy who also attended the ceremony welcomed David, Avril, Aimee, Connor and Lauren Thomas, Tony Brown, James, Justine, Leah and Mark Steell, Grace Jokhan, Anita Green and Yanxia Wang.

The ceremony was followed by an “Aussie” morning tea of lamingtons, Anzac Biscuits and Tim Tams.

Council was thrilled with the event, and just as thrilled the group has decided to call Australia home.
