Saturday was the first day of competition since before Christmas.
Thanks to the greens staff and volunteers for their effort to have the course playable.
A two-player ambrose was played and the winners were John Ward and Jack Wood with 76/66 ¼ from Jack Panzram and Clayton McKay with 74/67.

Sunday was the parent and child event which was a success with 85 players.
Division one winners were Ron Weatherby and Jason Weatherby with 69 points.
Division two winners were Peter Wood and Jack Wood with 76/64 ¾.
Parent and child division winners were S. and L. Ziebarth with 80/66 ¼.
Pee Wee winners were David Bowles and Rylie and Caleb Bowles 42.
Coming events: Wednesday is women's 12-hole event, hit-off at 7.30am.

Seventeen players played an 11-hole competition on Saturday.
The course is drying out well, though buggies were not allowed to be used.
Hopefully this week the club can repair some of the washouts so that buggies can be used on the course once again.
Jack Hudson had the best result for Saturday, with Russell Hack runner-up.
