Woman's dangerous dash through construction sites

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged after police allege she sped through two Coast construction sites without headlights.

Police alleged about 12.05am today a woman driving a pale blue/silver Hyundai drove dangerously through two work sites on Nicklin Way at "considerable" speed.

Police said she drove south at excessive speed, narrowly missing two trucks at the intersection of Wurtulla, before turning onto Caloundra Rd.

Police found the car at a Little Mountain home and the woman was arrested.

The Buderim woman was charged with one count of dangerous operation, one count of obstruct police and two counts of failing to provide breath for an RBT.

She will appear at the Caloundra Magistrates Court on February 14.

Police are asking any members of the public who witnessed the alleged offending or anyone that has dashcam footage of the incident to contact police.
