VIDEO: Cavs dominate Warriors to keep NBA Finals alive

THE Cleveland Cavaliers made tough shot after tough shot, defeating the Golden State Warriors to send the 2017 NBA Finals to a Game 5.

Kyrie Irving led the way with 40 points - shooting seven-for-12 from beyond the arc - while LeBron James finished with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists; the Cavaliers picking up the 137-116 win in Cleveland.

The Finals will head to Oakland for Game 5, with the Warriors able to clinch an NBA title with a win.

The Cavaliers came out of the gates strong, establishing a 16-point lead after the first quarter. Their 49 points in the first quarter was a new record for the most in NBA Finals history.

The Warriors, meanwhile, missed four of their first six shots. Stephen Curry finally had his first field goal of Game 4 with a three-pointer with about six minutes left in the second quarter.

Cleveland led 86-68 at halftime, with the Cavaliers again setting a new NBA Finals record, this time for points in a half.

Things got heated in the second half. Zaza Pachulia appeared to deliberately hit Iman Shumpert while in a tustle on the ground, fighting for the ball.

A non-ejection for Draymond Green also caused some controversy in the third quarter. Green got a technical foul, which the Cavs thought was his second of the night. ABC's Doris Burke said the scorer's table insisted the first tech was on Green as well.

However, referee John Goble later clarified to ABC's Mike Breen that the first-half tech was on Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

A fan who sat near the Warriors' bench was ejected late in the third after interfering in a war of words between the two teams.
