ADRIAN McDonald was relaxing at home on Wednesday night when his peace and quiet was shattered.

Late Wednesday night a Holden Barina driven by a 19-year-old Warwick woman left the road on Diery St and skidded across the nature strip before crashing through a fence.

Mr McDonald, who lives next door to where the car crashed through, said he nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the crash.

"I was sitting on the lounge and heard an almighty crash and thump which made me jump out of my chair," he said.

"I raced outside and heard four girls screaming hysterically.

"One young fellow was out of the vehicle and not responding but breathing and two young girls looked like they had head injuries."

A Warwick Police spokesman said the P-plate driver, who returned a positive breath test of .045, was carrying a 19-year-old male passenger, a 16-year-old female passenger and two 15-year-old female passengers.

All of the car's occupants, except one of the 15-year-old girls, were taken to Warwick Hospital with a variety of injuries.

Police investigations into the Diery St crash are continuing.
