FOR many weeks, many people have been hard at work behind the scenes to prepare the 2010 Star Regional Business, Apprenticeship and Training Awards and ensure everything runs smoothly this Saturday.

For those that don't know, the judges and deliberation process for selection of finalists and winners was meticulous and a lot of criteria was taken into account from businesses, apprentices and trainees.

The 2010 Star Regional Business, Apprenticeship and Training Awards sold out two weeks ago due to a flood of response from the local community.

A full house of 400 guests will flock to the Gatton Shire Hall for a night of extravagance and entertainment.

Please be advised that the 2010 Star Regional Business, Apprenticeship and Training Awards is a gala event and there is a formal dress code in place.

Winners in each category will be revealed on the night.

Also, the Regional Environmental Awards will be announced with sections in business, community and education.

From those categories businesses are also eligible to take home the prestigious June Harm Memorial Award.

Brisbane band Lo Fi Way will play a variety of well-known covers to seal the event.
