All roads lead to Bungaberg in sign-writing bungle

WE'RE not sure how Bundaberg's tourism campaign is going, but this sign may be leading people off track.

Locals between Agnes Water and Miriam Vale have been confused about this sign telling people they can go to "Bungaberg".

The previous sign, which had been covered in graffiti, was replaced on Friday at the intersection of Fingerboard and Tableland Rds.

A response from the State Government said a local maintenance contractor had installed the sign last week.

"We immediately requested the contractor replace the sign and fix their mistake," the spokesperson said.
