Brisbane Valley Highway still closed after truck rollover

THE Brisbane Valley Highway remains closed north of Toogoolawah after a truck rollover today.

Police said the truck crashed 3km north of Scrub Creek rd  in the locality of Braemore half way between Toogoolawah and Harlin.

The accident happened around 3pm.

The truck was a B-Double carrying grain.

The driver is believed to have escaped serious injury however the crash has blocked both lanes of

the highway.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident and police are talking to the truck driver to ascertain

the cause.

The Harlin Hotel told the Gatton Star they expected the road to remain closed for another four hours

Detours to Esk are place via Somerset Dam.
