DALY Cherry Evans is almost certain to play for Queensland against New South Wales in Sydney tomorrow night despite conflicting reports about his knee injury.

The Manly halfback has been under intensive physiotherapy for a knee injury for the entire Maroons Origin camp.

He will make a decision later today after taking part in the team's captains run at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

The mail out of the Queensland camp is that provided he can take a knock on his knee, he'll play with Brisbane's No.7 Ben Hunt missing out on an Origin debut after training with the squad for a week.
