Both lanes of the Bruce Hwy closed north of Miriam Vale

BOTH lanes of the Bruce Hwy were closed after a truck jack-knifed north of Miriam Vale on Monday morning.

It's believed the incident occurred around 11.10am.

The driver is believed to have escaped from the truck.

Miriam Vale police are currently at the scene.

Police were unsure how long the highway will be closed, however the truck is expected to be towed from the scene in a short while.

Miriam Vale police said an ambulance hadn't been called for the truck driver.
