Bodybuilder has meltdown after runner-up finish
BODYBUILDING: A Greek bodybuilder may have been a sore loser, but one of the judges was left feeling a little worse for wear too.
Giannis Magos won his 100kg division at the 2016 IFBB Diamond Cup in Athens, but was far from impressed when he was beaten for the overall title.
So, instead of graciously congratulating the winner, countryman Christos Pistolas, he slapped a judge, flipped over the judges' tables and, for good measure, reportedly pulled out his penis.
Magos was caught on video confronting judge Armando Marquez before slapping him across the face, which knocked him to the mat.
"Yesterday I'm winner! Yesterday I winner!" Maros was heard yelling. "And today I get beat, how? I don't understand ... f*** off!"
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, this was the third time Magos had been overall runner-up at the annual event.
He is now facing a lifetime suspension for his "disrespectful and aggressive behaviour", according to a post on the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness's official Facebook page.
American IFBB Hall of Famer Kevin Levrone said Magos's behaviour "was a very, very embarrassing moment. You have to act like a pro before you're going to end up being a pro. For the guy that did that, I hope he finds himself and learns a lesson. He's a hurt a lot of people."
Especially one body-building judge.
