Body found at Golden Beach

A BODY has been found at Golden Beach.  

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed a body - believed to be that of a man - has been retrieved from the water off Golden Beach.  

QPS said they received a call shortly before 7am from people who had spotted a body in the water near the Golden Beach ramp.  

Police and water police arrived on the scene and retrieved the body.

The death is believed to be non-suspicious but police are still investigating.
