BMX bandit robs servo, threatens staff with knife

A WOMAN has been left traumatised after a man threatened her with a knife at a Dinmore service station.

Police are investigating after the service station was robbed last night at about 8.20pm.

A man rode a BMX bicycle to the Brisbane Rd business and entered the shop area.

He selected a couple of items from shelves before approaching the counter and threatening the staff member with a knife.

The staff member locked herself in a back room and the man left the store on the BMX.

He is believed to be in his twenties, approximately 170cm tall, of medium build with brown hair.

Police are appealing to the public for information.
