Lockyer Valley Christmas Lights competition winners

THE winners of the Lockyer Christmas lights competition were announced at Gatton's Christmas Carnival last week.

For the second consecutive year, Lynelle and Leandra Niemeyer, have been judged as having the Best Decorated Home in the Lockyer Valley.

Lockyer Valley Mayor Steve Jones said he was pleased to see so many homes and businesses participating this year in the 2013 Spirit of the Lockyer Valley Christmas Lights and Decorations Competition.

"There are some terrific displays this year and I would like to congratulate the people who took the time to put up decorations this year," Cr Jones said.

"I would like to encourage everyone to get out and have a look at the displays throughout the Lockyer Valley between now and Christmas."
