Bali teen's $200,000 tell-all deal

THE family of the 14-year-old boy caught with drugs in Bali has reportedly signed a deal worth between $200,000 and $300,000 with Nine Entertainment to tell the story of his ordeal.

The Sun-Herald reported the deal, signed on Saturday night, includes coverage in ACP magazines, as well as 60 Minutes and Nine News.

The source also confirmed a 60 Minutes crew would fly to Bali this week to film and interview the boy and his family.

The NSW teen, whose identity his family has tried to mask, was arrested on October 4 after being caught with 3.6kg of marijuana in Bali.

The teen has spent the past five weeks in jail. His sentence is expected to be handed down on Friday.
