Injured man who fled scene of quad bike crash sought
AUTHORITIES are asking a 25-year-old man who fled the scene after he was injured in a quad bike accident at Cooloola Cove to come forward and seek treatment for his injuries.
It is believed the man lost control of his quad bike when he was doing donuts Saturday night around 9pm.
Queensland Ambulance Service officers treated the man at the scene while waiting for the Sunshine Coast based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter to arrive.
The man fled from the scene just before the CareFlight helicopter landed.
A search by Queensland Police failed to locate the man.
