Australian Open uses Chinese water

It is appalling that the offical water of the Australian Open is Ganten Natural Spring Water, which is shipped in from one of the world's most polluted countries, China.

This bottled water is receiving much advertising on television screens worldwide as it is supplied on court to all the players and sold to the punters at Melbourne Park.

Why not use fresh and clean water from Victoria's Mount Franklin or Cooroy Mountain?
