Australian cricketers 'mo up' for men's health

AUSTRALIA'S best cricketers are a hair's breadth away from success as they pitch in to change the face of men's health.

You can forgive fast bowler Mitchell Johnson and his squad getting a little lippy as they wield the willow against Pakistan.

The side is joining thousands of Aussie males as they mo up for Movember, which starts on Saturday.

"With one in eight Australian men experiencing depression at any given time and prostate cancer being the most commonly diagnosed cancer amongst Aussie men, the support for Movember is so important," Johnson said.

Mitchell Starc, Dave Warner, Glenn Maxwell, Aaron Finch and coach Darren Lehmann join the Mo Sistas of cricket - Ellyse Perry, Meg Lanning, Alyssa Healy and Southern Stars coach Cathryn Fitzpatrick - to raise money for the men's health programs.
