Aussie journo suffers bullet to the throat in Philippines

AN Australian journalist has been shot in the neck in The Philippines.

The ABC's Adam Harvey was pictured on CNN speaking on a phone while others hold bandages to a neck wound.
Harvey is believed to have been grazed by a stray bullet on his neck inside Provincial Capitol Compound, Marawi.

The wound is thought to be minor.

Less than 24 hours Harvey tweeted how he came across a murder on the drive out of Marawi.

"Brutal times in the Philippines," he said.

More to come.
