MURWILLUMBAH model Kelly Ann Knox is in the frame to win a coveted modelling contract with Australia's top commercial modelling agency Scoop.

The opportunity comes as part of the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition.

The nationwide search to find Australia's best-framed fashionistas has international supermodel and photographer Helena Christensen leading the charge.

The 2011 Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition celebrates the individual beauty and confidence of those who wear glasses. Ms Christensen will join a cast of judges who represent some of Australia's finest in the fashion and modelling industry, and will personally photograph this year's winner in New York.

Ms Knox is excited to break into modelling and loves her glasses.

“I can see clearly for starters and I get to play around more with my look. They are like an extra fashion accessory – I love it,” Ms Knox said.
