Artists unveil mural

AFTER three months of hard work, a colourful mural has emerged from the hands and brushes of the society to be donated to Tabeel Physiotherapy, Laidley.

Manager Jovi Gutt said the six or seven people who contributed to it had done a magnificent job depicting the Lockyer Valley.

“It will add colour to the room and I can't wait to see it on the wall,” she said.

President of the Laidley Art Society, Terry Merrick, said it is just one of many flourishing artworks in the pipeline.

“We are working on two more but they probably won't be ready until next year.”

The Laidley Art Society's opening date is November 13.
