Markets clash heads in Esk

ON Saturday, April 23 a new Arts and Craft Market featuring all Australian made goods will be running from 8am to 4pm on the Rail Trail behind Ray White in Esk.

A wide range of products that make excellent gifts for Mothers Day will be on sale.

Maybe you might like to just pamper yourself.

With no imported items for sale you can be assured that you are buying quality Aussie goods and help support our growing band of local art and crafts people.

Meanwhile, Flying Arts Inc is presenting a two-day acrylic workshop with Catherine Parker at St Agnes Church Hall on the weekend of April 2-3.

The workshop is called ‘Travels with my paintbrush', and participants will be exploring and experimenting across the vast terrain of acrylic painting and mixed media.

They will also have the opportunity to move beyond the conventional and explore an top range of materials.

Canvas, paper, wood, plastic, collage, ink and pastel are just some of the materials you can experiment with to create a contemporary and eclectic range of 2D and 3D artworks.

There are limited vacancies available for this great workshop, with the full amount to be paid by March 19.

Cost is $80 for the two days and it is BYO morning tea and lunch.

Phone Local Flying Arts Representative Tessa Wright on 5424 2734 from 7pm to make your booking.
