Men armed with gun, knives storm home, demand cash

BREAKING: Police are investigating a burglary in which three men armed with a gun and knives stormed a home demanding cash.

At 1.45am three men attended an address on Marika Dr, Gatton, forcing open the front door to gain entry inside.

One man was armed with a rifle and the other two with knives.

Two male occupants were then forced from their beds to the lounge room where they were threatened with the weapons and demands were made for money and property.

The trio have stolen a wallet containing an amount of money and a laptop computer before damaging two mobile phones.

The two occupants, an 18 and 33-year-old were not physically injured.

Investigations by Gatton Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing.
