Armed robber threatens Landborough shop worker with syringe

Police have released imagery and video footage of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the armed robbery of Landsborough Supermarket Country Store yesterday.

A police spokesman told The Daily a female staff member working at Landborough's Cribb Street store has been threatened with a syringe by an armed robber who fled the shop with money and cigarettes.

At 3.15pm, a man entered the shop to ask directions before leaving. He then returned, allegedly brandishing a syringe and demanding cash.

After she handed it over, he fled on foot.

No one was physically harmed in the incident.
