Another milestone for Alistair Cook

ENGLAND captain Alastair Cook notched up another milestone yesterday as his team looked to etch out a decisive lead on the fourth day of the final Test in Nagpur against India.

The left-hander became his country's leading Test run-scorer in India with 863, one ahead of Mike Gatting, with Tony Greig in third place and Kevin Pietersen in fourth.

Cook was out for 13 in England's second innings with the tourists holding a narrow 70-run lead late on day four.

Earlier India had declared on 9-326, four runs behind England's first innings.

England needs to only draw the last Test with India to complete a first series win on the sub-continent since the 1984-85 tour.Inida must win to level the series at 2-2.
