Angry Anderson pulls out of Toogoolawah festival

ANGRY Anderson and Black Label Australia will no longer be taking part in Toogoolawah's River Rock 2014 festival.

Angry was due to line up with Accadacca, Black Diamond and others but George Muscat, from Black Label Australia, said they were pulling out due to the uncertainty of the event, organised by Rockden Promotions.

The festival was originally due to take place at the Dead Horse Lane venue this month but was delayed to 2014 due to "circumstances beyond the control of the promoters".

At their meeting on Wednesday, Somerset Regional Council issued a licence for the festival to be held on February 8.

Council has requested Rockden provide a bond of $6000 and indemnification for Dead Horse Lane roadworks and confirmation of a company providing bottled water and refill services prior to the event.
