All bets on Judah to win battle to become the Voice

AS THE reality singing contest heads into the Battle Rounds, Mackay's Judah Kelly is the clear favourite to win the competition.

The former Mackay student was the first singer through to the battle rounds on Sunday night after his rendition of Adele's When We Were Young, beating Kelly Read and Fasika Ayallew.

More than 34% of total money wagered via online bookmaker Sportsbet has been placed on the Team Delta contestant and he's now the $4.00 favourite to win the show.

Hoseah Partsch is the second favourite on $7.50 ahead of Lucy Sugerman ($8.00) and Rennie Adams ($8.50) - all other contestants are in double figures in the betting.

"The battle rounds are about to start but right now the other contestants are battling just to keep within touching distance of Judah in the betting," sportsbet.com.au's Will Byrne said.
