AUSTRALIA is getting its first, and only, live agribusiness television program - The Ag Show.

The half-hour weekly show will explore the issues that matter to agriculture. Powered by the Rural Weekly and sister papers The Weekly Times and Tasmanian Country, The Ag Show's team of expert reporters and commentators will provide unparalleled insights and analysis into Australia's vibrant $60billion agriculture industry.

Hosted by The Weekly Times publisher and columnist Ed Gannon and The Weekly Times reporter Nicola Bell, The Ag Show will inform viewers about what is happening in agriculture.

"We will have all the movers and shakers in agriculture, what is happening on farms, plus the best analysts to explain the important issues," Ms Bell said.

"From beef to blueberries, wool to walnuts, The Ag Show has agribusiness covered."

The Ag Show premiered on Sky News Business on February 1 at 5.30pm Queensland time.
