GATTON'S Regis Valley Views, has been awarded the highest accolade possible and named Outstanding Facility of the Year for leading aged care provider the Regis Group.

The top award was accepted by facility manager, Jan Douglas, on behalf of staff and residents at Regis Valley Views at the Regis Group's annual National Staff Awards Gala Dinner held in Melbourne last Friday night.

The Outstanding Facility of the Year Award is based on five major performance criteria: resident care, staff coaching and development, overall financial performance, compliance and marketing. Of the 41 facilities the Regis Group operates nationally, Valley Views came out on top.

Mrs Douglas said the team at Valley Views was proud of its achievements. “Whilst it is a surprise, we are thrilled to be recognised for the hard work in making the facility a real home for residents and a great place to work for the team,” she said.

“Living, with Support, is not just Valley Views value statement, it is what we truly strive to achieve on a daily basis.

In addition to collecting the Outstanding Facility of the Year Award on behalf of the team at Valley Views, Mrs Douglas was individually recognised and awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award for the group.
